Job summary

City of Cleburne in Texas is seeking a maintenance worker for airport operations and fueling support. The role handles fueling operations, grounds maintenance, and terminal office clerical tasks, with hours Mon-Fri 8-5 and alternating weekends.

The ideal candidate has high school diploma or equivalent, basic aviation operations knowledge, and the ability to operate hand and power tools safely. Valid Texas Class C license required; aviation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills to interact with tenants, vendors and staff.
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform minor repairs.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools and safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform airport fueling operations and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Maintain grassy areas, perform weed eating and mowing, and assist hangar repairs.
• Handle terminal office clerical duties in line with department policies.
• Follow safety standards to prevent hazards while operating equipment.
• Work varying hours, Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with alternating weekends.
