Job summary

The City of New Braunfels Airport team is looking for a motivated maintenance and customer service professional to support daily airport operations. You will assist with ground handling, fueling, and customer interactions to ensure a safe and positive experience for visitors and tenants.

You will perform maintenance, inspections, and administrative duties while adhering to FAA, OSHA, and TXDOT regulations, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with at least 1 year of airport/fixed base operations experience, specifically aircraft refueling and towing.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of FAA/OSHA safety requirements and airport operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service to the public, hangar tenants, visitors, and other airport users to support daily operations and events.
• Perform line service duties for incoming aircraft including parking, refueling, cleaning windshields, checking oil, and other services per operator requests.
• Withdraw and return aircraft to hangars and secure aircraft for overnight tie-down as needed.
• Carry out cashiering, clerical, and data-entry tasks following departmental procedures.
• Inspect and perform maintenance on airport facilities and equipment in compliance with FAA/OSHA/TXDOT regulations.
