The Portland International Jetport is hiring for an entry-level Airport Operations Coordinator!
An Airport Operations Coordinator provides centralized security and communications oversight for the airport while working in PWM’s 24/7/365 Airport Operations Center.
Additional consideration will be given to candidates who possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Airport Management or comparable airport related experience, experience at a commercial non-hub or larger airport in Airport Operations, Airport Security, or other applicable professional aviation experience.
Airport Operations Coordinators work rotating 10 hour shifts/4 days a week, are required to be available for holidays and on-call shifts and are subject to mandatory overtime call-ins as the Jetport is a 24/7/365 operation.
Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background and driving record check.
This is a union position, Pro-Tech Grade MA-5, with a starting pay range of $28.49-$32.06 per hour, based on relevant years of experience, and includes shift differentials and OT opportunities.
