Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Mobility Assistance Specialist to provide safe wheelchair support and courteous mobility assistance for airport passengers.

You will transport customers through terminal areas and assist with devices, baggage, and luggage while ensuring accessibility and smooth operations. The role requires strong communication and the ability to coordinate with airlines, security, and ground transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Ability to lift and transfer passengers and luggage safely.
• Able to work a flexible schedule with overtime as required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist and transport passengers requiring wheelchair assistance through arrival and check-in, to/from gates and within terminal.
• Assist wheelchair passengers with carry-on bags, assisted devices, and checked luggage.
• Operate mobility equipment safely according to procedures and airport regulations.
• Greet passengers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Provide navigation and wayfinding throughout the terminal.
• Monitor passengers' needs, pace, seating, and comfort while maintaining privacy.
• Communicate with passengers and coordinating teams (airlines, concierge, security, ground transport).
• Assist Ramp Service Agents to ensure wheelchairs and gate-checked items are loaded/unloaded as needed.
• Maintain a safe, injury-free environment by using proper lifting techniques and assistive devices as trained.
• Other duties pertinent to department success may be assigned.
