Job summary

SMS International Shore Operations US, Inc. is seeking part-time airport guest service agents to assist cruise guests with meet-and-greet, escort, and transportation coordination at the airport.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and prior customer service experience. You will greet guests, direct them to the correct areas, and provide information about transportation and pier activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage crowds and guide groups in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Answers general questions in an accurate and pleasant manner.
• Greets all guests with a smile and welcomes them; fosters a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
• Directs guests to proper areas (i.e. check-in counter, waiting area).
• Qualifies guests with transfers and consults manifest as needed.
• Pro-actively and efficiently sells transportation; documents transactions accurately.
• Provides guests with pertinent information regarding transportation, pier experience and sailing.
• Escorts guests to the bus and controls guest flow accordingly.
• Performs luggage sweep of all airline carousels and reports leftovers.
• Clears and cleans workstation and ensures all paperwork is submitted.
• Shows flexibility by performing additional duties as assigned by management.
