Job summary

Pbpservices is seeking a Mechanical Technician to perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical systems supporting gate and terminal operations at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.

This role works in an active airfield environment and requires adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. The position is full-time second shift, union represented, with employer-paid pension, medical and dental coverage, and paid vacation and sick leave.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial/airport/large facility environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480 VAC.
• HVAC experience with RTUs, air handlers, compressors, and fans.
• Read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electromechanical systems supporting airport operations.
• Maintain and repair PBBs, gate equipment, PCA units, HVAC, 400 Hz power systems, pumps, motors, and related equipment.
• Safely operate electrical systems up to 480 VAC including motor controls and VFDs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics and test equipment.
• Document work performed using a CMMS and communicate with shifts and stakeholders.
• Follow all safety requirements including lockout/tagout and airfield safety protocols.
