Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Mechanical Technician to perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical systems at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.

The role supports PBBs, PCA units, 400 Hz power, HVAC, and related facility systems in an active airfield environment. Requirements include experience in industrial or airport maintenance, electrical troubleshooting up to 480 VAC, and EPA 608 Type II or Universal certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial, airport, utility, or large facility environment.
• Demonstrated experience in safe operation and troubleshooting of electrical systems up to 480 VAC.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electromechanical systems supporting airport operations.
• Maintain and repair PBBs, gate equipment, PCA units, HVAC systems, 400 Hz ground power systems, pumps, motors, and related systems.
• Safely operate electrical systems up to 480 VAC including motor controls and VFDs.
• Document work performed and corrective actions using a CMMS; communicate with shifts and stakeholders.
