Job summary

Inland Deicing Services, LLC, Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Mechanic IDS IND to maintain trucks, support vehicles and ground service equipment at IDS airport operations. You will follow maintenance procedures, read manuals, and ensure equipment reliability.

This role requires a basic tool set, ability to travel to other IDS airports, and a strong safety mindset. Expect on-the-job training, health and dental insurance, 401(k) with company match, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid US Driver’s license.
• Able to read and write in English and follow instructions.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills required.
• Candidates must have own basic tools (sockets/wrenches) up to 1" and up to 1/2" drive.
• Strong time management and organization to handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of fluids, diesel-powered machines and related tools.
• Welding experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other IDS Airport locations.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for local maintenance scheduling and performance to ensure equipment dependability.
• Perform duties of a skilled maintenance technician following procedures and manuals.
• Read manuals, schematics, and drawings to complete work accurately.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic problems and resolve within established timeframes.
• Maintain complete maintenance records and conduct inspections as scheduled or unscheduled.
