Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies seeks a skilled Mechanic (IDS IND) in Indianapolis, IN to keep our trucks, support vehicles and ground service equipment safe and reliable. This role focuses on maintenance planning, troubleshooting and ensuring equipment performance across our network.

You will read manuals, use drawings and testing tools, travel to other IDS airports as needed, and enjoy benefits such as health/dental/life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ with a valid US driver’s license.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain local maintenance scheduling and ensure equipment dependability.
• Perform duties of a skilled maintenance technician following procedures.
• Read manuals, schematics, and blueprints to complete work assignments.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic problems within established timeframes.
• Maintain maintenance records and conduct inspections.
