Two years of experience in the maintenance and repair of airport facilities and equipment* involving a variety of minor carpentry, electrical, masonry, mechanical, painting and plumbing work.
A Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR Certificate is required**.
A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job related essential function.
Physical Class 4 - Arduous: This class involves frequent heavy lifting over 25 pounds, often combined with bending, twisting, or working above ground on irregular surfaces. It includes those positions that occasionally demand extraordinary physical activity such as those in Safety positions.
*Maintenance and repair of airport facilities and equipment is defined as maintaining and repairing airport structures (including hangars and buildings), airport infrastructure (including runways, taxiways, and apron areas), airport facilities (including lighting, signage, and navigational aids), and airport vehicles and equipment.
**Applicants must provide a copy of a valid standard first aid and CPR certification issued by a provider authorized by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within five (5) calendar days from the last day of filing the application. Certificates will be subject to verification before being appointed.

This examination will consist of TWO (2) parts:
A Situational Judgment Test weighted at 55%, assessing:
