The State of Hawaiʻi, Airports Division, seeks an experienced maintenance technician to independently repair and maintain a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment, including water pumps and laundry machines, in tunnels and on viaducts.

The role requires three years of relevant work experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work rotating shifts; pre-employment fingerprint checks and SIDA clearance are required.

Formación

• Three years of work experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of a wide variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Valid drivers license required at time of appointment.
• Pre-employment fingerprint-based criminal history record check and SIDA clearance required.

Responsabilidades

• Repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment, including pumps and laundry equipment, per manufacturers' specs.
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on tunnel equipment and viaducts; conduct structural inspections as needed.
• Read operating manuals and follow basic trade practices to complete assigned duties.
