Job summary

International Shoppes is recruiting Retail Sales Associates for Honolulu International Airport (HNL). You will proactively sell merchandise and deliver exceptional customer service in a busy retail setting, working with store managers to drive sales.

The role requires at least 6 months in retail sales, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long hours, and a passion for fashion. Weekend and holiday availability is mandatory; bilingual skills are a big plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of retail sales experience.
• Ability to sell across a broad range of categories such as clothing and accessories.
• Flexible with shifts – weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods (8 hours per shift).
• Love for fashion and trends.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds and ascertain their needs.
• Learn product offerings, answer questions about merchandise and the store.
• Assist customers with recommendations and locating merchandise based on their needs.
• Clean shelves, counters, and tables during slow times.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, policies, and security practices.
• Practice active listening and engage customers without interrupting.
