Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Airport Lounge Bartender for the Sapphire Lounge at the airport. You will provide exceptional customer service, mix and serve drinks, and coordinate with servers to ensure fast, accurate service.

The role requires standing for long periods, stocking the bar, and maintaining a clean work area, with a focus on safety and accuracy. Full-time, open shifts, with opportunities for career growth within Sodexo.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of relevant bartender experience preferred.
• Ability to prepare a wide range of beverage recipes and mix drinks correctly.
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol under local/state laws.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, mix and serve drinks with and without alcohol and craft drinks with appropriate garnishes.
• Ensure the bar area is fully equipped with the required tools and products.
• Prepare accurate opening counts and place inventory or purchasing orders as needed.
• Maintain cordial, diplomatic and attentive interactions with customers.
• A significant amount of walking or moving around the bar area.
• Stand for long periods, potentially exceeding 8 hours per shift.
• Reach, bend, twist, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.
• Able to perform repetitive movements.
• Attend work and report to scheduled shift on time; may be assigned other duties per client requirements.
