NMS is seeking a dependable Food Prep Helper to support daily operations in the Alaska Airlines Lounge at Anchorage International Airport. The role involves assisting in food preparation, meal assembly, and keeping stations clean and sanitized in line with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least six months of related food service experience.
• Food Handlers Card or ServSafe Certificate contingent upon 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and varying schedules including holidays, weekends, and extended hours as business dictates.
• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Ability to pass SIDA Badge test and Alaska AOA Badge requirements.

Responsibilities

• Reviews recipes and product instructions.
• Determines food quantity needs.
• Prep, measure, mix, cut, season, and store ingredients for cooking and serving.
• Assist in preparing hot and cold dishes and store them with proper safety guidelines.
• Sanitize equipment and stations according to protocols.
• Attend allergy and foodborne illness training.
• Prepare serving stations and restock as needed.
