Job summary

OTG at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, TX seeks a Training Manager to lead learning and development initiatives across the terminal. You will design and deliver programs spanning onboarding, safety, hospitality, product knowledge, and supervisor development to elevate crewmember performance.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of hospitality operations, training or HR experience.
• Proven leadership in a high-performance workplace culture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to guest and crewmember service.
• Ability to train, coach and develop peers and leaders.
• Able to clear OTG background checks and airport badges.

Responsibilities

• Reduce turnover by improving onboarding experiences for all crewmembers.
• Establish training plans for new salaried crewmembers and partner with ops leaders for on-the-job training.
• Partner with Operations and HR to train hourly crewmembers and validate learning paths.
• Schedule, facilitate, and maintain the Certified Trainer Program.
• Develop core training programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Track training activities, manage LMS, and report outcomes.
• Communicate new training initiatives to leadership and align with business goals.
• Manage local training budget and work two terminal shifts weekly to stay connected.
