Job summary

The State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is seeking a Maintenance Specialist - Bldg/Facility/Const - Journey 1 (HVAC) at Anchorage International Airport. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, monitor equipment health, and ensure operations align with safety and regulatory standards.

You will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, document activities in AIS and CMMS, and support airport operations while upholding DOT&PF values

Qualifications

Troubleshoots, diagnoses, analyzes, and identifies system malfunctions to determine the source and cause.
Knowledge of procedures for assessing, evaluating, and monitoring programs or projects for compliance with Federal laws, regulations, and guidance.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, installation, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Adjusts planned work by gathering relevant information and applying critical thinking to address multiple demands and priorities in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

Perform daily maintenance and repair tasks on HVAC systems, ensuring efficient operation and safety compliance.
Monitor building systems using specialized software and maintain records in AIS and CMMS.
Coordinate activities with team members, contractors, and airport personnel to ensure seamless operations.
Adhere to regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
