Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds reliably.
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, reach and handle.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification.

Responsibilities

• Load and offload baggage and freight, moving them to different terminal areas.
• Prepare all paperwork for flight teams including fuel slips, load plans, freight manifests and flight discharges.
• Marshals and pushes back aircraft.
• Prepare weight and balance forms and ensure load accuracy by entering codes and weights into a data system.
• Service aircraft as needed including restrooms, water, cleaning, deicing and security checks.
• Operate and/or drive equipment such as belt loaders, dollies, pushback tumps and deice trucks.
• Perform aircraft tow tasks as required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
