Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking experienced Golf Cart drivers for part-time/seasonal work at Myrtle Beach International Airport. The role involves safe passenger transport, loading/unloading, and daily shuttle service between parking areas and terminal pickup/drop-off points.

Must be able to work 5am-1:30am shifts including nights, in all weather, with a valid DL. The position offers an hourly rate of $11.00 per hour plus tips, flexible 2-3 days per week, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and at least 2 years of licensed driving experience.
• Must be able to submit and pass a DOT drug screen, physical and criminal background check.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to meet MVR guidelines.
• Reliable transportation to and from job site(s).

Responsibilities

• Reliable and punctual attendance is paramount to this position.
• Works well with others and is a strong team player.
• Greet customers, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, display a caring attitude, and develop a rapport with all passengers.
• Anticipate guest needs wherever possible and exhibit a sincere desire to meet or exceed them
• Assist passengers with general information about the parking lot. Ex. Parking rates
• To work with and without supervision and follow direction of supervisors when requests are made.
• Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
• Provide daily transportation for passengers to and from parking lots to designated terminal pickup and drop off areas.
• Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Report accident / incident reports in a timely manner to Manager on Duty.
• Perform daily/routine cleaning. Maintain neat and orderly appearance to include assigned uniforms.
• Exercise care in reporting of lost articles.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Keep the vehicle secure and follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain alertness and be observant of any activity, both authorized and unauthorized, and take appropriate actions.
• Respond to all guest/visitor inquiries and resolve service/ customer discrepancies accordingly in a respectable manner.
• Perform other related/additional duties and tasks as assigned.

• Schedule: 2-3 days MUST BE FLEXIBLE between Monday - Sunday (daily) 5am-1230pm 12pm-730pm 7pm-130am.
• Night shifts are REQUIRED by every driver.
• MUST be able to work in ALL weather conditions.
• Hourly Rate: $11.00/hr (plus any tips you may receive while working)

The Spirit of the Position:

The Golf Cart Driver position is responsible for the effective, efficient and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the various pick-up/drop-off spots at the job site, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers at Myrtle Beach International Airport.

Physical Demands

• *Ability to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.*

• Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours a day.
• Ability to drive continuously in the designated shuttle for a minimum of 2-3 hours.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
• Ability to apply pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
• Ability to perform functions that require repetitive motions using hands, wrists and arms.
• Ability to perform functions that require repetitive motions using ankles, knees and hips.
