Job summary

Plum Market Food Service Columbus Airport is hiring a Utility / Runner to support kitchen and service teams at the Columbus Airport. This full-time hourly role focuses on sanitation, dishwashing, waste removal, and ensuring smooth product flow between storage, prep, and service locations during peak travel times.

You will keep areas clean, handle basic setup and breakdown, stand for long periods, and pass an airport background check for badging.

Qualifications

• Experience in dish/utility or food service preferred (but not required)
• Able to pass airport background check and qualify for badging
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, pots, and pans per food safety standards
• Keep the dish area and back-of-house spaces clean
• Remove trash and recyclables according to disposal guidelines
• Transport food, supplies, and equipment between airport locations using carts
• Monitor product levels and restock service points
• Assist with setup and breakdown of service stations
• Keep carts and storage areas clean and safely staged
• Follow airport security, safety, and sanitation procedures
