Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Morning Floor Technician to perform cleaning and building services at the BWI Airport location. The role requires operating floor machines, applying finishes, and adhering to all contract specifications.

The position is on-site with a 6:00am–2:00pm schedule and includes weekend work. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to six months of floor technician experience, with knowledge of floor finishes and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of Floor Technician experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor finishes, applications, and removals.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment.
• Knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment used at site.
• Candidates with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and building services in public and work spaces including executive areas.
• Buff, wax, and strip floors.
• Operate rotary floor machines and ride-on floor machines.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety per contract specifications.
