Several full-time positions are available within the Aviation Department, Facilities Structural Maintenance Division. Work schedules are determined based on operational needs and assigned by seniority. Mandatory overtime may be required during inclement weather.

Salary Range: $22.61 - $34.48/hour

Responsibilities include:

• Responding to mechanical and HVAC needs of facilities.
• Providing service, repair, and maintenance of terminals and outer buildings.
• Performing general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and machinery maintenance.
• Maintaining and operating snow removal equipment, forklifts, man lifts, and loaders.
• Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining facility systems like boilers, hot water and steam lines, air compressors, water feed lines, and plumbing fixtures.
• Carpentry work, masonry, concrete patching, and filling.
• Replacing piping, valves, and damaged parts on boilers.
• Repairing machinery and equipment used in daily operations of a multi-storied office complex.
• Performing remodeling duties such as framing, drywall installation, and plumbing fixture installation.
• Welding repairs on buildings and equipment.
• Assisting in other maintenance duties as assigned.

Certificates/Security Clearances: Requires two years of experience in building and mechanical repair work in relevant trades (HVAC, boilers, hydraulics, pumps, motors, etc.). A related technical education certificate or diploma may substitute for one year of experience. Valid State-issued driver’s license is required; a valid CDL Class A, B, or C may be required based on department needs. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical examination.
