Job summary

City of San Antonio seeks a Building Maintenance Supervisor to plan and direct maintenance activities for a department. You will manage budgets, purchasing, inventories, work orders, and supervise staff at 10223 John Saunders Rd, San Antonio, TX. Work hours are Monday–Friday with 2nd shift 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.

or 3rd shift 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. You will supervise custodial and trade maintenance, coordinate with vendors, ensure service contracts are met, and maintain safe, compliant building

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years building maintenance experience including supervisory.
• Valid Class C Texas driver’s license.
• Background checks and security requirements for airport employment.
• Must maintain security clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance personnel in custodial or trade services.
• Plans and schedules job assignments with subordinates.
• Prepares purchase specifications for equipment and materials.
• Inspects facilities and work in progress.
• Coordinates with vendors to complete service contracts.
• Maintains and inventories tools; ensures adequate stock.
• Provides training to subordinates.
• Fulfills related duties as required.
