Job summary

ABM industries is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, compliance, and operational efficiency across airport concessions and landlord-operated areas in Los Angeles, CA. The role ensures preventive maintenance programs, regulatory adherence, tenant coordination, and capital projects align with safe, high-quality guest experiences.

Responsibilities include SOP development, record management, vendor coordination, and project leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive facilities management experience, preferably in airport, concession / hospitality, or high-traffic environments.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience managing vendors, contracts, and capital projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs for preventative maintenance programs across all facilities.
• Oversee documentation and timely sharing of maintenance records with the Airport Authority, including tenant-related docs.
• Ensure landlord-controlled common areas are maintained in optimal condition at all times.
• Coordinate with internal teams, tenants, and Airport Authority departments to resolve facility issues.
• Identify root causes of facility issues and ensure timely resolution with follow-up.
