Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six years custodial experience with at least one year in a lead/supervisory role.
• Specialized maintenance training preferred if available.
• Education directly related may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review and participate in custodial maintenance on an assigned shift; ensure work orders are completed and documented.
• Establish schedules and methods for custodial services; identify resources and allocate accordingly.
• Develop and monitor policies, procedures and safety standards; recommend changes for improvements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards; monitor activities and enforce discipline.
• Oversee technical tasks such as inspection of facilities, inventory, and equipment; address deficiencies.
• Assist in disposal of hazardous materials and operate related equipment as needed.
• Maintain payroll-related records and support performance evaluations; handle and resolve inquiries.
