Job summary

Avports LLC in Stewart, NY is seeking a SWF - Facilities Maintenance – Carpenter to perform repairs and routine maintenance of airport facilities with a focus on carpentry. This is a regular full-time on-site role at New York Stewart International Airport.

You will install, repair, and maintain doors, frames, windows, flooring, ceilings, and other structural elements, read blueprints, and work with electricians and plumbers to complete projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum three (3) years of carpentry or building maintenance experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid New York State CDL Class B License as a condition of employment.
• Eligible to obtain all Airport staff access and security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain doors, frames, windows, partitions, flooring, ceilings, and other structural elements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Work with electricians and plumbers to finish projects.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools.
