Avports is seeking an Airport Facilities Manager for the SWF – New York Stewart International Airport. The role oversees capital and operating project management, asset planning, and life-safety compliance on-site at New Windsor, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Minimum five (5) years of hands‑on experience in project management, design, inspection, and/or construction.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with limited resources to achieve complex goals.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NYS Building Code requirements, construction standards, and other applicable Engineering Design Codes.

Responsabilités

• Lead project management of both capital and operating projects for the facility.
• Develop, administer, and coordinate the airport Capital Plan and Annual Major Maintenance Programs (AMMP).
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver a feasible asset management plan that meets the goals of the facility.
• Serve as the airport technical expert regarding Fire Protection and Life Safety (FPLS) issues and facility operation standards.
• Coordinate and oversee implementation, repair, and resolution of deficiencies related to mandatory structural and fire protection and life safety inspections as well as tenant lease inspections.
• Assist in the development of work scope, budget preparation, and management of consultant contracts.
• Coordinate the facility structural integrity program including working with the Port Authority QA Department regarding their cyclical inspection program.
• Serve as the facility liaison for the Port Authority Aviation Department Sustainability Program.
• Prepare technical drawings when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
