Job summary

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) offers a three-year Professional Development Program Associate (Airport Engineering) to develop hands-on engineering and project management skills at MWAA. The program advances from Year 1 through Year 3 with training, design reviews, and progression toward a Project Manager Engineering role at MWAA’s airports in Virginia and the national capital region.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design reviews for airfield and terminal projects.
• Support senior staff with administrative project management activities.
• Observe and assist in Capital Maintenance and Investment Program (COMIP) presentations and meetings.
• Document required experience for certification and prepare reports for stakeholders.
