Qualificações

• Completion of a recognized electrician’s apprenticeship program.
• Two years of journey-level electrician experience (above 600 volts).
• Valid California driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and operate electrical substations ranging from 2,300 to 12,000 volts, including breakers, relays, batteries and controls.
• Maintain high voltage power lines, locate faults and make connections where needed.
• Install watt-hour meter systems and associated voltage/current transformers and meters.
• Maintain and repair the 5,000-volt airfield runway lighting system and related signage/beacons.
• Operate standby engine generators for emergency power and support tenants during outages.
• Collect data for engineer expansion projects and coordinate with tenants and contractors.
• Inspect completed work for compliance with airport standards and requirements.
