Job summary

Egis, a leading international engineering and infrastructure firm, is seeking a Design Engineer to join its Aviation Direct practice in the United States. You will design airport projects including runways, taxiways, and lighting, prepare reports and contract documents, and support civil engineering work across site design and water-related aspects.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, PE preferred, and 8+ years aviation experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE designation) preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering with aviation focus is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate multiple project tasks.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced position.
• Goal- and deadline-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design of airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, and lighting.
• Prepare engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents/technical specs.
• Experience in general civil engineering design including site design, wastewater, and water-related evaluation.
