Job summary

Egis, a leading international engineering, consulting and infrastructure firm, is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Colorado team in Grand Junction. You will contribute to airport, rail, and water projects, applying your Civil Engineering knowledge and FAA awareness.

You will collaborate across disciplines, prepare design reports, and grow professionally within a global company that values collaboration, innovation, and community impact.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in civil engineering; aviation experience and FAA familiarity a plus.
• Ability to coordinate multiple project tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, navigational aids, etc.
• Preparation of engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents / technical specifications.
• Experience in design of general civil engineering projects including site design, sanitary wastewater, water and hydraulic evaluation a plus.
