Job summary

Lyft is seeking a Data Scientist for the Airports team in the Toronto area. You will collaborate with engineers, PMs and designers to shape product decisions, forecast rider demand, and optimize airport ride offerings while driving market growth.

You will design experiments, analyze large datasets, and present actionable insights to leadership, balancing opportunity and uncertainty in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, CS or related discipline.
• 4-6+ years in data science/analytics.
• End-to-end data work including querying, aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
• Experience with experimentation and measurement of impact.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define measurement strategies and scientific methodologies for business decisions and forecasts.
• Design and analyze experiments with engineers, product and design teams; present findings to stakeholders.
• Analyze signals to identify patterns, root causes, and growth opportunities; propose technical solutions.
• Understand Airports dynamics to propose Lyft-wide product enhancements.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Establish metrics to measure health of products, business, and rider/driver experience.
