Base Pay Rate: $20.35

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Exempt or Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt

Shift: A.M. shift, P.M. shift

Requirements and Description

The Unifi Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising employees during their shifts to ensure safe and efficient operations. Supervisors ensure that customer service staff provide first-class service and act as the first line of defense for our customers. This is a customer-facing role requiring friendliness, outgoing personality, and a passion for making people happy.

Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of employees for safe and effective operations.
  • Monitor and enforce safe working habits according to OSHA/TSA/DOT/FAA regulations, policies, and laws.
  • Manage shift operations, including workstation assignments, training, vacations, breaks, overtime, and shift rotations.
  • Enforce company policies, handle disciplinary actions, and promote equal employment opportunity and professional conduct.
  • Communicate with management regarding issues.
  • Conduct shift meetings.
  • Perform duties such as assisting passengers with check-in, special needs, ticketing, boarding, baggage, reservations, and resolving complaints.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Pre-requisites
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Ability to pass a 10-year background check.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Complete SIDA training for airport security.
Experience

Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, with a team-oriented mindset.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong work ethic and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in typing and computer use.
  • Ability to understand and follow ticketing procedures and regulations.
Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED.

Additional Skills: Effective verbal and radio communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and creative problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

Work Schedule: Flexibility for various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime in a shift bid environment.

Work Environment: Outdoors in various weather conditions, exposure to noise, fumes, dirt, and dust, alertness to moving vehicles and aircraft, and use of radio equipment.

Physical Demands
  • Lift/move items of 70+ pounds regularly; lift 40-50 pounds on raised surfaces.
  • Walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently.
  • Work in high or confined spaces and carry heavy items on jetways.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise Customer Service Agents and Leads.
