Job summary

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is seeking an Airport Construction and Certification Coordinator to oversee regulatory compliance and the airport certification program. You will manage inspections, recordkeeping, ACM maintenance, and coordination of major design studies with operations and engineering teams.

The role requires experience in airport operations or construction management, strong knowledge of FAR Part 139, and the ability to manage multiple projects while supporting

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressively responsible experience in airport operations and/or airport construction management.
• Exposure to Part 139 certification requirements and FAA coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple major projects concurrently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements for safe, efficient airport operations.
• Manage programs related to airport certification, training, inspections, recordkeeping, and ACM maintenance.
• Coordinate with engineering and operations to supervise major design studies, construction projects and facility improvements.
• Serve in the Airport Operations 24-hour Command Center and respond to emergencies as assigned.
