Job summary

Tailwind Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a General Manager to oversee store staff, direct daily operations, and drive service excellence across airport concessions. You will lead scheduling, training, and compliance while upholding Tailwind's mission and values.

Collaborate with the operations management team to ensure food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, manage cash handling and payroll data, and resolve issues with a positive, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Experience managing staff and business operations in the Food and Beverage industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Work some weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Consult with the operations management team to provide updates and inquiries.
• Work closely with Human Resources to complete various tasks.
• Ensure staff are trained and equipped to perform duties effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Develop weekly schedules to ensure adequate shift coverage.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
• Monitor and maintain food quality service standards.
• Manage cash deposits and change orders accurately.
• Review and approve invoices.
• Process refunds and research receipts via the POS system.
• Regulate temperatures, appearance, and taste of products to ensure quality.
• Confirm hours and make payroll time-entry edits.
• Regulate tip-sharing in POS for fair distribution.
• Ensure safe, responsible and legal serving of alcohol.
• Maintain equipment per safety and maintenance guidelines.
• Maintain stock levels by ordering supplies.
