Job summary
City of St. Louis is seeking an Airport Power Plant Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of climate control systems serving the airport facilities, terminals, and concourses. Louis Lambert International Airport. Requires five years in HVAC operation/maintenance with supervisory experience, plus a valid driver's license.
Qualifications
- Five years of experience in operation and maintenance of high capacity HVAC systems.
- At least two years in a supervisory capacity.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license during employment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee operations and maintenance of two power plants and outer buildings.
- Ensure facilities are operated in accordance with applicable requirements and best practices.
- Manage staffing of approximately 37 employees and supervising roles.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate budget, procurement, and capital needs.
- Respond to emergencies and resolve equipment failures.
- Coordinate with service contractors for HVAC and boiler contracts.
