Job summary

Unifi in Minneapolis is seeking a Cabin Lead to supervise a team of cabin agents responsible for cleaning aircraft interiors, lavatories, and restocking supplies to support on-time departures.

The role also includes maintaining cleaning equipment and coordinating with Ramp teams, ensuring detailed cleaning to airline standards. Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience and be able to work in challenging conditions.

Qualifications

  • One+ year of relevant experience.
  • Able to work in extreme conditions (hot/cold) and in small spaces.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Assigns activities of cabin service agents and ensures completion of tasks.
  • Cleaning and servicing of aircraft interiors, including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories.
  • Prepares cabin for Customer boarding and departure, including cleaning seats, pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories.
  • Ensures all furnishings and supplies are installed per specifications and kept free of dirt and debris.
  • Assists Ramp agents once Cabin Cleaning is complete.
  • Performs FOD walks in the ramp area between flights.
  • Marshals aircraft during arrivals and departures.
  • Ensures ground equipment is available for upcoming flights.
  • Reads and interprets loading and safety documents and tags.
  • Performs other related duties within appropriate skill level.

Responsibilities for Cabin Lead

  • Assigns activities of cabin service agents and ensures completion of tasks.
  • Cleaning and servicing of aircraft interiors, including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories.
  • Helps prepare the cabin for Customer boarding and departure, which can include cleaning of seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories.
  • Checking, handling, assembling, removing, and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to list specifications and cleaning must be highly detailed and specific to ensure all areas are completely free of dirt, debris, marks, fingerprints, etc.
  • Assist Ramp agents when Cabin Cleaning is complete.
  • Performs FOD walks in the ramp area between flights.
  • Marshal aircraft's during arrival and departures.
  • Ensures necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights.
  • Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifest, and baggage routing tags.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications for Cabin Lead

  • One+ year of relevant experience.
  • Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces.
  • Eligible to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
  • Possess a valid driver\'s license with a good driving record.
  • Some shifts may require extended hours to meet business needs.
  • Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
  • Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
