Job summary

Delta Airlines seeks an Airport Cabin Lead based at IAH to manage cabin service teams, ensure cleanliness and readiness of aircraft interiors, and assist with ramp operations. You will read weight/load manifests and coordinate with ground staff to support on-time departures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Directs cabin service agents and ensures task completion.
  • Clean and service aircraft interiors including cabin, galley, and lavatories.
  • Prepare cabin for boarding and departure, including seat and galley cleaning.
  • Inspect and install passenger service furnishings per specifications.
  • Assist ramp agents after cleaning; perform FOD walks between flights.
  • Marshal aircraft during arrivals and departures.
  • Ensure ground equipment and bagroom supplies are ready.
  • Read weight and balance, hazard labels, manifests and baggage tags.
  • Perform other duties within skill and experience levels.

Responsibilities for Cabin Lead
  • Assigns activities of cabin service agents and ensures completion of tasks.
  • Cleaning and servicing of aircraft interiors, including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories.
  • Helps prepare the cabin for customer boarding and departure, which can include cleaning of seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories.
  • Checking, handling, assembling, removing, and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to list specifications and cleaning must be highly detailed and specific to ensure all areas are completely free of dirt, debris, marks, fingerprints, etc.
  • Assist ramp agents when cabin cleaning is complete.
  • Performs FOD walks in the ramp area between flights.
  • Marshal aircraft during arrival and departures.
  • Ensures necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bagroom for upcoming flights.
  • Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifest, and baggage routing tags.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
Qualifications for Cabin Lead
  • One+ year of relevant experience.
  • Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces.
  • Eligible to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Some shifts may require extended hours to meet business needs.
  • Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
  • Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
