Job summary

MSP Airport is seeking a Cabin Lead to supervise a team of cabin agents responsible for cleaning aircraft interiors, lavatories, and restocking supplies. The role includes preparing the cabin for boarding, managing cleaning tasks, and assisting Ramp agents as needed.

You will marshal aircraft, ensure ground equipment readiness, and maintain high cleaning standards to support on-time departures and safe operations.

Qualifications

• One+ year of relevant experience.
• Able to work in extreme conditions (hot/cold) and in small spaces.
• Must be able to work in cramped or high places and carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of cabin agents responsible for cleaning aircraft interiors, lavatories, restocking supplies.
• Assigns activities of cabin service agents and ensures completion of tasks.
• Cleaning and servicing aircraft interiors including cabins, cockpits, galleys, and lavatories.
• Prepare cabin for Customer boarding and departure (cleaning seats, pockets, floors, galleys, lavatories).
• Assist Ramp agents when Cabin Cleaning is complete and marshal aircraft during arrivals and departures.
• Ensure ground equipment is available for upcoming flights and read load/balance instructions and safety labels.

Responsibilities for Cabin Lead ($19.37)

Lead a team of cabin agents responsible for cleaning aircraft interiors, lavatories, restocking supplies. Also responsible for maintaining cleaning equipment and cabin supplies to enable on-time departure of aircraft.

• Assigns activities of cabin service agents and ensures completion of tasks.
• Cleaning and servicing of aircraft interiors, including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories.
• Helps prepare the cabin for Customer boarding and departure, which can include cleaning of seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories.
• Checking, handling, assembling, removing, and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to list specifications and cleaning must be highly detailed and specific to ensure all areas are completely free of dirt, debris, marks, fingerprints, etc.
• Assist Ramp agents when Cabin Cleaning is complete.
• Driving Team Van
• Performs FOD walks in the ramp area between flights.
• Marshal aircraft's during arrival and departures.
• Ensures necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights.
• Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifest, and baggage routing tags.
• Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications for Cabin Lead

• One+ year of relevant experience.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces.
• Eligible to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Some shifts may require extended hours to meet business needs.
• Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
• Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
