Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable in preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to ensure proper delivery amounts and portions.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to handle knives, glassware, bottles, scoop ice, and stock items.
• Basic knowledge of English to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 300 lbs with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves orders from storeroom and checks stock against requisition; re-checks items with bartender for completeness.
• Cuts, slices and prepares garnishes and juices; stores backup supplies requiring refrigeration.
• Maintains supplies like stir sticks, napkins, matches for bar and service area.
• Maintains cleanliness of bar area, beer lockers, refrigeration and storage to health codes.
• Scoops ice, replenishes ice containers, and transports taps and heavy beer kegs.
