Job summary

The Reef Bar at Saint Croix Henry E. Rohlsen Airport is hiring a Shift Leader to support daily operations, supervise bar staff, and ensure superior guest service. You will assist with cash handling, food prep, inventory, and opening/closing duties in a fast-paced airport environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years customer service and supervisory experience.
Must be able to obtain alcohol awareness and ServSafe certification.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Ensure guests receive superior service with a friendly environment and greeting.
Communicate, explain, and suggest menu items and promotions to guests.
Perform cash handling duties and process payments.
Cook and store food at proper temperatures; label, date and rotate products.
Assist management with daily operations and lead staff in manager's absence.
Open and close duties including cash management, inventory, stocking, and appearance.
Adhere to policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
Support training of associates to maintain unit standards and customer service.
Ensure all areas are clean and opening/closing side work are completed per checklists.
Follow safe food handling and hygiene practices.
Report equipment malfunctions to management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
