Job summary

SSP America in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring a Server to join our airport restaurant team. The role pays $12.00 per hour plus tips, with immediate hiring, set schedules, full benefits, and an employee meal program.

Shift is from 4am–12:30pm. You will greet guests, input orders, handle cash, maintain the bar, stock garnishes, and ensure compliance with liquor regulations. A high school diploma is preferred, with at least 6 months in retail or food service.

• Input orders into the register and create checks for guests.
• Accept payments and make change while ensuring accuracy of charges.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Input orders into register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest.
• Receive cash from guests, make change, verify charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
• Maintain proper and adequate setup of the bar and its supplies.
• Stock and store fresh fruits, garnishes, and perishables daily to ensure quality.
