Job summary

Daifuku Services America Corporation is seeking a Jr. Technician in Windsor Locks, CT. You will assist with maintenance and repair of baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges, under supervision.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of mechanical or BHS/PBB experience, with the ability to work weekends and holidays. Training and safety compliance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year mechanical experience or 1 year BHS/PBB experience or pass a mechanical aptitude test.
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges.
• Diagnose equipment failures under guidance of senior personnel and ensure safe operation.
• Read repair manuals and schematics and follow supervisor instructions.
• Work in tight spaces using PPE and fall protection.
• Complete safety training and company procedures; document work per procedures.
