Job summary

SP+ is seeking an Airport Baggage Handler in Coconut Creek, FL. This role involves picking up luggage from airline partners and returning to our distribution center for sorting, with a focus on a clean, professional image and strong time management.

The job requires being at least 18, authorized to work in the United States, able to pass background and drug screens, and capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. Vaccination required per location policy; training provided and airport badges obtained.

Responsibilities

An Airport Baggage Handler must pick up luggage from our airline partners and bring the bags back to our distribution center for sorting. The person is required to maintain a clean, professional image while displaying strong time management skills.

This is a physically demanding position which requires on-the-job security training and the ability to receive all applicable airport security badges.

Qualifications

This location requires employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment, subject to any valid medical or religious accommodation.

• Must be at least 18 years of age

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers and to communicate with customers and fellow employees. The employee is frequently required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stand; walk. The employee is also frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. In addition, the employee is required to of twist, turn, stretch, and bend on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly. The employee must be able to move in a relatively quick manner. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Peripheral vision and Ability to adjust focus.

Salary Range: $21.00 per hour (+ tips)

This role is eligible to earn tips in addition to the posted hourly rate.
