Job summary

ERMC Aviation is seeking a skilled BHS Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated baggage handling conveyor systems at DAL Airport. The role offers hands-on work in a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include inspections, diagnostics of mechanical/electrical issues, part replacement, and log keeping, all while upholding safety and regulatory standards. Must read English and endure extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Able to read and understand technical manuals, schematics and diagrams.
• Familiarity with PLCs and control systems a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; airport security badge eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on baggage handling conveyor systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Repair or replace defective parts and ensure proper system calibration.
• Monitor system performance and respond promptly to alerts or breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize system performance.
