Job summary

Egis Group in Reno, NV, seeks a Project Manager to lead general aviation and non-hub airports projects, including FAA and State DOT programs and local upgrades at public and private airports.

You will coordinate design, bidding, construction administration, and project closeout, manage grants and schedules, and ensure compliance with airport master plans and FAA/state design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering.
• PE preferred or ability to obtain a State PE within the first year.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office and FAA design standards.

Responsibilities

• Design experience on FAA and State DOT aviation projects within an assigned client base.
• Management of portions of a project: grant facilitation, design, bidding, construction administration, and close out to meet project goals on time and on budget.
• Compliance with objectives contained within the airport master plans, federal grant assurances, FAA and state design standards, and project scope of work.
• Knowledge and application of FAA Advisory Circulars for airport design and construction including runways, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, grading/drainage, and pavement markings.
• Development of contract specifications and bid estimates.
• Coordination of engineering design staff and other disciplines to meet objectives.
• Accurate daily time keeping
