Job summary

Crown Innovations, Inc. is seeking an AutoCAD Draftsman to translate field geospatial data into precise AutoCAD drawings and KML files for the FAA FOTS Program, ACL initiative, based in Ontario, CA.

The role partners with the field survey team to process GPS data, produce base maps, plot coordinates, and ensure compliance with FAA drafting standards. Minimum two years drafting experience and AutoCAD Map 3D or Civil 3D preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year certificate in Drafting, GIS, or related field.
• Minimum two years of professional drafting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and geospatial data integration.
• Experience importing GPS data from survey files (CSV, TXT).

Responsibilities

• Geospatial data integration and drafting from field data.
• Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings illustrating manhole structures and routing.
• Generate or refine airport base maps using imagery and survey data.
• Create KML files from AutoCAD drawings for visualization in Google Earth/maps.
• Collaborate with field survey teams to ensure data accuracy and standards.
