Job summary

The City of Atlanta is seeking a Project Manager I in the Department of Aviation's Facilities & Asset Management Division to advance asset management and facilities initiatives focused on planning, data management, performance monitoring, and reporting in support of renewal and replacement of airport assets.

The role involves managing asset management projects from inception to completion, coordinating with internal stakeholders and consultants, and ensuring accurate data in EAMS and CMMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental management, business, real estate, public administration, civil engineering, urban forestry, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of related experience and at least 1 year of managerial supervisory experience is required.
• Experience with asset management programming and understanding of related standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage asset management projects from inception to completion; coordinate with internal stakeholders and consultants to ensure project goals and deliverables are achieved.
• Assist in developing plans and programs for assessing facilities; perform condition assessments on existing facilities.
• Record facility condition and inspection findings; assist in developing reports.
• Ensure accuracy of asset data within the Airport’s Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) for data-driven decision making related to renewal and replacement efforts.
• Oversee data collection and information management processes in support of asset management programming.
• Assist in ensuring all assessment and inspection activities are properly planned, executed and documented in the CMMS.
• Assist in developing, reviewing and updating documentation such as inspections forms, reports, plans, policies, standards and procedures.
