Pay: $13.27 / hr!

Responsibilities

How will you make an impact?

  • Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft at the airport on the taxiway to ensure that they are entering or leaving their gate safely and on time.
  • Load, unload, and sort passenger baggage as a baggage handler, and appropriately transfer baggage on the ramp, cargo/freight, and company materials. Some items can weigh up to 75 lbs.
  • Drive ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts to assist with aircraft movement and baggage handling.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure a safe and on-time departure.
  • May clean the interior of the aircraft and service aircraft lavatories.
  • Create a positive start for passengers by greeting them and providing a seamless check-in and ticketing experience.
  • Use reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, and handle fees.
  • Inform passengers about their trips and belongings, ensuring clear communication.
  • Coordinate with the team to process passenger information accurately and ensure timely flights.
  • Resolve passenger issues related to flight interruptions promptly and courteously.
  • May work in the Baggage Service Office to track baggage locations and assist passenger questions.
Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

Requirements:

  • Minimum age: 18
  • High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
  • Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or passport (some restrictions may apply)
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including days, overnights, weekends, holidays, and days off
  • Flexibility to work additional hours with short notice when necessary
  • Ability to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags and items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
  • Enjoy working under deadlines and in a physical outdoor environment; interest in the airline industry
  • Clear, polite, and friendly communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
