Apple is seeking a Product Design Engineer for its Audio Product Design team in Cupertino. You will conceive, design, test, and bring to production audio components and enclosures for AirPods, collaborating with Industrial Design, Audio Engineering, Packaging, and Hardware teams.

You should have 3+ years of product design experience, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and strong skills in DFM/DFA, tolerancing, and basic FEA. The role may require international travel (~10%).

Qualifications

• Proficiency in plastic and metal part design.
• Experience with DFM and DFA, tolerance analysis, and geometric tolerancing.
• Some experience with basic finite element analysis.
• Willingness to travel internationally (10%+).
