Job summary

Omni Air International is seeking an experienced Operations Dispatcher to oversee day‑to‑day airline activities, coordinate information flow, and ensure on‑time performance across stations. You will drive recovery plans during disruptions, directing staff and communicating movements to customers and internal teams.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years of airline operations experience, and an aviation degree or dispatcher license preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years airline operations experience preferred.
  • Aviation degree and/or Dispatcher license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all day-to-day airline activities.
  • Coordinate flow of operational information to all departments and stations.
  • Monitor and address issues with on-time performance, baggage handling, flight irregularities and service quality.
  • Manage airline recovery plans during disruptions and direct staff in irregular operations handling.
  • Analyze future operations and assign/route aircraft to meet needs.
  • Publish aircraft schedules and communicate movements to customers and stations.
  • Prepare daily operational reports on punctuality and delays.
  • Ensure compliance with company rules and directives.
  • Maintain knowledge of contractual obligations, especially passenger service.
  • Assist passengers with onward connections, hotel reservations, and transport.
  • Handle lost/damaged property and other duties as assigned.
